Thank you for registering for the 28th Annual Tour de Vineyards on September 17, 2022. It's going to be a great day!
Cyclists are coming from across the country to enjoy our unique routes and the Colorado Mountain Winefest in picturesque Palisade.
To help ensure a great experience, please check out the details below regarding packet pick-up, parking, start / finish location and a complete event schedule.
All riders will receive a bib and bike i.d. tag. The bib includes a tear-off meal ticket for the post-ride brunch and a raffle ticket to enter for a number of prize drawings. Affix your bib to your jersey with the included safety pins.
Please note - if you purchased WineFest or additional meal tickets when registering online, these tickets will be included with your packet.
Overflow parking is southwest by a few blocks, at Peach Bowl Park & Palisade Pool, on W 5th St. between Elberta Ave. and Logan Ave. Palisade High School is another option with plenty of parking if you are running late.
Please do not park on streets with No Parking signs - you will be towed!
23- AND 58-MILE ROUTES Both routes take in the Palisade Fruit & Wine Byway. The longer route also does a lollipop loop up and over Reeder Mesa.
And here is the 58-mile route, which has aid stations at Carlson Vineyards (9.6 miles) and twice at Lazy S Arrow Motel (21 and 41 miles).
Fresh fruit, water, Skratch hydration, Bar-U-Eat bars and other snacks will be available at the aid stations in addition to port-a-lets and a bike mechanic.
Sag wagons will rove the course, providing roadside assistance to those experiencing mechanical problems or those who become too fatigued to finish. Please be prepared to handle your own flats and minor repairs.
Road Marshals, Palisade Police Department, Colorado State Patrol and Rapid Response will be on hand to help make your ride safe and enjoyable.
PLEASE REMEMBER THIS IS A RIDE NOT A RACE! Use caution when crossing U.S. 50 and descending Reeder Mesa on the 58-mile course, and ride single file on bike paths with two-way traffic.
PLEASE DON’T DRINK AND RIDE. We go to great lengths to make the event as safe as possible, but you are ultimately responsible for yourself. Make good choices.
POST-RIDE FESTIVITIES
After the ride, enjoy a delicious, healthy brunch as part of your entry fee while you chat with friends and listen to live music by Katie Walters and Friends.
YOUR TICKET FOR BRUNCH IS A TEAR-OFF TAB ON YOUR BIB.
A limited number of brunch tickets for friends and family will be available at packet pick-up for $15.
